We
recently met pianist Fumio Itabashi in "Flush Up" - TAKEO MORIYAMA
QUARTET and "Wheel Stone - Live In Nemuro" - TERUMASA HINO (SEPTET).
Today I present his album "Toh", the first author project (all
compositions written by Fumio Itabashi), released by Frasco Records [FS-7011].
The other two musicians on this LP are superb bassist Okada Tsutomu and
excellent drummer Kusumoto Takuji.
Believe
me in the word, another extraordinary Japanese ride.
If
you find it, buy this album!

file expired, can you re-up it? Thx in advance
DeleteFor a minute I thought track A2 is the Gordon Jenkins tune. It is not, but what Mr. 板橋文夫 composed is very much in the same vein. Thanks, Vitko!
ReplyDeleteCheers, -Otto-... :)
DeleteHi Vitko,
ReplyDeletethank you very much for your all amazing uploads, but may I ask, can you upload also together flac and MP3/320 version?
Thanks in advance!
Why on Earth would you want MP3 when you can have flac? If you really want to decrease the quality you can do that yourself!
DeleteI'll take your word for it! Can't wait to hear it. Many thanks for all your excellent music.
ReplyDeletevitko, vitko...
ReplyDeleteThank you very much
ReplyDeleteThank you, Vitko. This trio sounds very similar to McCoy Tyner, Ron Carter & Jack DeJohnette.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! !
ReplyDeleteThis record was awesome! Cannot believe the record company does not re-issue this album.
ReplyDeleteGreat post thanks very much :)
